Ultrarunning Day with Andy Mouncey

Alpine Oasis ultrarunning coach Andy Mouncey is putting on a special ultrarunning day on the 18th of August at The Climbers Shop in Ambleside, Cumbria.

Andy will be joined on the day by Lakeland’s top ultrarunning couple, Terry & Annie Conway. Fresh from smashing his own course record at the recent Lakeland 100, Terry Conway and his wife Annie (who placed 6^th overall in the 50 mile event) will be special guests, providing a Q+A session.

Andy will be in the shop from 10am signing copies of his new book ‘Magic, Madness & Ultramarathon Running’ then at 3.30pm he will lead a free group coaching session on the on the local fell. 

Andy's Hill Skills For Ultras session will include coaching from Andy, the opportunity to try a selection of trekking poles from Leki and Mountain King and provide a chance for you to see yourself running on film.

The day presents a great opportunity for those who'd like to know more about the ultrarunning coaching Andy provides on the Alpine Oasis training camps in both the UK and the Alps. 

Andy’s inspirational presentation ‘It’s Not About The Distance’ starts the evening off at 7.30pm and the day finishes with a Q+A session with Terry and Annie Conway.
